TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

SPECIAL OFFERS

 

All special offers can take up to 7 days to process and must be paid for in advance.  Only items with a standard price of £7.95 or less will be accepted on the multiple special offer, ie 4 items for £20.  A two piece suit is counted as two items.  Every special offer is subject to terms and conditions relative to that particular offer and are published on our special offer page.  We reserve the right to refuse any item.

 

COLLECTION OF ITEMS

 

Please retain your ticket you will need this to collect your items.  The ticket will give the day due for collection, please note that collections are any time after 5 p.m. on the given day unless otherwise stated.  We will make every possible effort to process your item within the prescribed time frame, however, we shall not be held liable for any delays.

 

In the event that items are not collected within ninety (90) days we reserve the right to dispose of them as we see fit and shall not be held liable for any loss that you may suffer in such an event.

 

PERSONAL ITEMS

 

Please check all of your items for money, jewellery or other valuables prior to despositing them with us, if we find any valuables in your items, we will make every effort to return them to you but we cannot be held liable for the loss of any such articles.

 

CARE LABELS

 

We process your items in accordance with the manufacturers care label.  We will only process items in the absence of a care label under owners risk, this means, after consultation with you, we will ask for your written authority to process your items, in the event that the chosen method of processing damages your item we will not be held liable, it is entirely at your own risk.  Likewise if you request your item to be processed in a way that contradicts the manufacturers care label we will require your written authority and will not be held liable, if the chosen method damages the item.

 

STAIN REMOVAL

 

We aim to remove all stains but in some cases this is not always possible.  Please note the chances of stain removal are reduced if any non-professional techniques have been applied.  We treat problematic stains with great caution but sometimes to achieve results we need to use harsher techniques and chemicals.  Should the need arise we will consult you before going ahead as certain stain removals can only be done at your own risk.  We will require your written authority accepting owners risk.  We do not guarantee stain removal.

 

DAMAGE

 

We excercise the utmost of care in processing your item you have entrusted to us and use such processes which in our opinion are best suited to the nature and conditions of each individual item.  Nevertheless we cannot be held liable for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials (such as sun fading on curtains) which may result in tears or the development of small holes in fabric that are not readily apparent prior to processing.  In dry cleaning, laundry we can not guarantee against or be held liable for colour loss, colour bleeding, and shrinkage, or against damage to weak and tender fabrics.

 

LEATHER & SUEDE

 

Given the delicate nature of some leathers and suedes, all leather and suede items are processed entirely at your own risk, and we do not accept any responsibility for any damage or fading as a result of the cleaning process.

 

SILK

 

If your item is made of silk and is being processed for the first time, you should be aware that even when using the most delicate of cleaning techniques, there is a remote possibility of slight texture or size changes to the silk.

 

TRIMMINGS, BUTTONS, BEADS, BELTS etc

 

Although we are unable to accept responsibility for loss or damage to beads, crystals, sequins, buttons, diamantes, pearls, buckles etc., due to their inherent unsuitability for dry cleaning, we have the skill and experience in identiying the most appropriate cleaning methods for each specific item.  We have to rely to a certain extent on the fact that the manufacturer has attached the beads adequately and has used trimmings etc, which are suitable for dry cleaning.  All such items are processed at the owners risk, we will not take responsibility under any circumstances.

 

CLAIMS

 

We will investiage any complaint promptly and pay fair compensation for damage or loss due to our negligence.  In the event of damage if we determine we are responsible, and the damage is repairable we will offer to repair the item and offer a service credit to be agreed.  If the damage is non repairable we will in the first instance endeavour to replace the item by using the product code attached to the item, if the label is not present or if we determine that the item is no longer available our liability with respect to any damage to items caused by us shall not exceed ten (10) times our charge for processing the item regardless of brand or condition.  No claims for damages will be recognised unless you advise us of the same within forty eight (48) hours of collecting the item.  If it is unclear who is responsible for the damage then we will arrange for an independent analysis by a fabric care research laboratory.  The cost of which will be paid for by us if we are deemed by the laboratory to be responsible for the damage, if the laboratory report confirms that we are not responsible for the damage then you the customer will be liable for the cost of the independent laboratory report.

We reserve the right to refuse any of our services to any customer.
